Featured Dress Friday: Oleg Cassini – 4XL8CWG767 (David’s Bridal)

Hello Beauties! Happy Featured Dress Friday! This week is from *gasp* David’s Bridal. The popular designer, Oleg Cassini, has partnered with David’s to design a beautiful blush, A-line gown with floral embroidery. I have mentioned David’s on the blog before, usually when telling my David’s story as being the only option a plus size bride had at the time (that and Alfred Angelo, may they rest in peace).

However, I will say David’s and his bridals can come all the way through! The dress quality has improved a great deal of late and I believe it was a great move to partner with a major designer for their plus size offerings.

Now, as for this Cassini masterpiece lets start with the neckline and silhouette.

I love the soft sweetheart neckline that has the illusion lace for a slight, peek-a-boo effect with the bust. The popular A-line silhouette is very shapely and has the right fit for any body typed bride.

But those appliques though…

The entire dress is adorned with rose gold (or gold on Ivory) Appliques that have beaded details within each of them that glimmer with every move. It’s already a unique gown because of it’s Blush color but the floral appliques give it it’s personality. It has a soft, romantic feel to it and I see it fitting right in for a understated bride that likes detail.

The back of the dress is zipped up and it has a slight train. The fabric type is polyester and it ranges from sizes 16W to 26W.

What type of accessories would you add to this dress to make it your own? Would you change the color to the other option of Ivory with Gold appliques or not change a thing? Sound off in the comments below!

This is my dress for my wedding next Saturday!! I love the blush color and the beading, I think it’s fairly “different” while still looking very bridal. I have rose gold accessories, including the headband shown on the model here. I got the matching veil to wear as well. At the last minute, I bought an extra veil and turned it into a matching bolero, it really changes the look of the gown—adds more of a vintage flair! I can’t wait for my fiancé to see me in it!
